an a new life expectancy of minimal 5 years
Mizzen 245 sqft on 1995 LEISURE boom furl with full battens, hardly any use.
Two furling headsail's, a high clue yankee of 675 sq ft, and a 120% genoa, previously 1080 sqft and precut tot 880 sqft. Both headsail's permanent on two 1995 Reckmann R4 furlers on 14mm headstays.Note: Baby stay and her sail are removed in 2004. The state of the yankee (around 60% passed of its life) and removal of baby stay could result in the upcoming years in the purchase of a new yankee with a bit lower clew and a bit more area to compensate for the gone baby sail. Aluminum main mast is a section 14 inch.
Booms are 1995 Leisure Furl original.
Oversized stainless steel standing rigging is very strong and in good condition,
surveyed in 2009
Both masts are Awlgripped in 1995.
Both booms are Awlgripped in 2006.
All sails: main, mizzen, furling 12O% genoa, furling high clew yankee are from 1995 by Lidgard Sails NZ and the 2 Reckmann headsail furlers are new from 1995. From 1995 the yellow/red Lidgard pole less cruising spinnaker of 1440 sqft with a North Sails turtle bag.
Condition of the sails
genoa + mizzen + storm jib : hardly or never used
Yankee passed 60% of its life, Main is good again after big repair job, genneker not much use, as the Southern Caribbean is too windy for a sail like this.
Sheets and halyards are bigger part new or near new.

When  Lidgard made the new sails in 1995, they rebuilt the old MAINSAIL + MIZZENSAIL to use them on both Leisure furlers. These Leisure furlers need specifically cut sails, one has to know the specs These 2 old recut sails are on board and never used, but they don´t look like new.

The following heavy jobs go electric: mainsail hoist, headsail furlers and headsail sheeting. The other jobs on easy to work manual, self tailing winches. Main and mizzen have New Zealand built (1995), in-boom "Leisure furl" systems to make reefing of mainsail and mizzen an one man job, even in 40 + winds. Both head sails are on separate Reckmann furlers (1995) The ship can be sailed and operated very easily by two persons, thanks to the autopilot, and these furlers.

All lines, sheets, blocks, rails, cars are in good condition. A set Rondal genoa rail with cars and stoppers is from 1998. In november 1998 we installed a Lewmar #77 electric 24 Volt self tailing winch on the aft deck. Other winches by Barlow: (2) #36 self tailing on deck, (2) # 28 self tailing on main mast Barient: 2x#24 on main + mizzen mast. Lewmar: the two 1998 furling winches for the in boom Leisure furl sails. Lots of spare halyards, blocks and shackles.

2 Reckmann headsail furlers, we operate them on the electric windlass. They are fitted on Monsoon as well in NZ in 1995.

Genneker by Lidgard-NZ 1440 sq ft.

Sailing downwind we do with the 2 head sails on their Reckmann furlers together with the use of 2 21 ft and 25 ft aluminum whisker poles for downwind sailing. Both sails, independent of each other can easily be furled in or out with the drum on the electric Lofrans Titan-B windlass. A simple and one-man job. Wind shifts of 10-15 degrees are tolerated.
